KFR provides affordable, fully furnished short-term lodging, appealing to those needing temporary housing. Our units offer routine housekeeping, free parking and an opportunity to live differently in a new, unique environment during your stay in Denver.

Anna:  I have been a landlord providing unfurnished rentals in Colorado’s Denver Metro region, for close to 10 years now.  My inspiration to take charge of my life and shape it into the life that would allow me to give back not just to family, Kenya, USA and society at large, comes from my upbringing and a calling to serve.  I grew up in Kenya and was raised in a loving family by great parents that to this day remain extremely hard-working.  Their lives have been shaped by selfless commitment to others and their generosity knows no bounds.  They are my biggest role models.

I was also raised with Christian faith (Roman Catholic) and beliefs, and remember at one point feeling called to become a nun.  The calling, however, became service of a different kind.  I joined the united states military and fondly recall my days as a solider in service to this beautiful country.  I was proud and it gave meaning to my life.

The desire to serve remains a driving force and one that works itself nicely into my current life in the hospitality industry.   Like many small businesses, I felt the impacts of the pandemic and I began to think that perhaps it was time to consider a slight change to my business model, switching from unfurnished to furnished rentals.

KAY-FAR is a veteran, minority and woman-owned small business providing themed fully furnished rentals in the Denver metro region, Colorado.  Our fully furnished rentals provide a housing solution to the traveling professional (digital nomad, travel nurse or other travel related job), students and interns coming to town.  We also provide affordable housing to vacationers and serve anyone in our local community that may need fully furnished housing, with the option to rent month-to-month.  The units are move-in ready, and virtual tours are offered for your convenience.

I work with a great team of professionals that help balance decision making as well as providing a pleasant, memorable, and repeatable experience for our guests.  We aim to personalize our hosting, prioritize hospitality, and offer a more responsive customer service, while taking accountability of issues you experience during your stay.

We currently offer 4 listings, each providing something slightly different while also being similar in design and management.  From pet-friendly 2bed/1 bath suites that can hold 4 guests, on short stays ideal for those on vacation, to suites that offer the comfort and convenience needed for long-term stays (2ppl, holds up to 4 at a small additional cost), we have a little of everything for you to pick from. Our leases are primarily month-to-month for longer stays, allowing for more flexibility. 

Our goal is to give you what you are used to and deserve in furnished housing (clean, comfort and convenience) while also giving you the opportunity to experience something new, A TASTE OF KENYA IN THE DENVER METRO AREA.  We enjoy creating new experiences for our guests.  Here are more reasons on why should you choose us?

Hi, my name is Anna.  I am a veteran, minority and woman owned small business providing furnished rentals in Denver Metro area as Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC.  I am originally from Kenya and fortunate to have had the opportunity to grow up in Kenya before moving to the United States of America to pursue higher education.

I have lived in a number of states and a few years ago moved to Denver, Colorado where I started my Real Estate investor Journey and landlord career as a buy and hold investor, managing my own properties in the Denver Metro Region.  I did this and continue to do so while working a full-time, W-2 job. 

In 2021 I began to think about changing my business model slightly as a way to generate a little more supplemental income to help my family.  I opted to switch from long-term unfurnished to mid and short-term furnished rental units.  I knew that I did not want to offer your cookie cutter furnished rentals, so chose instead to create something different that celebrated the two cultures that I have been fortunate to be a part of, the Kenyan culture and the American culture which is really a mix of many as America is a country of immigrants.  Kenyan Furnished Rentals LLC was thus born.
